I have a lawn business complete with a commercial truck, equipment, administrative support, etc. but need someone to take over the hands on work. Id be willing to hire someone with little experience and will work with you directly during training. (I pay 7.50/ hr to start.) HOUSES start at 300/mnth right now in town (with all utilities included!) there are income based townhouses in Lamar too that charge very little if any rent (based on income) and they are quite nice and safe IMO. Id be willing to help you in any way I can and want to forge a solid business relationship that can help us both.
I need to find someone to do the labor and manage 1 or more employees since im going back to school for my masters degree. You must be able to drive safely and legally and work in the US. Im willing to train someone but the person hired will need to be in Lamar, CO from May 1st - Oct 30th. Its a seasonal job Im looking for someone with a clean background. You don't need to hunt for clients or hand out flyers just do the jobs we have. No technical knowledge is required. I will train you myself.
Im available 24/7 via telecommunication to book appointments and provide support. I also handle all advertising, website mngmnt, billing, accounting, licenses, and manage the business. I have someone on hand to handle excess work but will give you first pick. Ideally you will be able to handle 90% of our clients by yourself. You will work 40 to 50 hours most weeks. No holidays - Weekends off - discounted child care available
Im a nice person to work for. Im not going to bother you while you work or be there to look over what you do but will check sites daily and communicate with clients. Its critical these jobs be done well, with care, and attention to details like not running over plants or any other special requests the clients have made. I think the freedom and relaxed work environment makes a big difference!
If your hired and you complete the 6 mnth season without any serious problems you will be given the opportunity to become a partner or be hired for the next season as the salary based general manager.
You will need to be able to lift 20lbs. (sometimes more- usually less), look professional, be energetic, do a good job, and be reliable. It's not difficult work and our equipment is VERY nice and easy to use. We care about safety big time and all the equipment is lightweight but works well.
